Belville Elementary hosts ‘fun run’ to raise money for smart panels

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County elementary school is celebrating a successful fundraising effort to bring technology into it’s classrooms.

Belville Elementary set out to raise money to put smart panels in all of it’s classrooms last year.

At the time less than half of the rooms had a smart panel and now 46 out of 49 are equipped with the helpful teaching tools.

The school’s PTO is holding a “fun run” Friday to help pay for the remaining three smart panels.

It is tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Belville Elementary.
