Dozens attend first Leland and Belville Small Business Expo

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — More than forty local businesses in Brunswick County came together over the weekend for the first Leland and Belville area Small Business Expo.

Vendors and business owners presented information and products to people who stopped by the expo. Event organizer Lara Bair said it is important to show support for local businesses in the community and work together to promote them. She also said she was extremely happy with the turnout.

“Our small businesses are incredibly important. I mean, these are our neighbors, our friends, our family. Both as business owners and as employees. They contribute incredibly to our local economy,” Bair said.

Bair hopes to hold this event annually and get more local businesses to attend.
