Southern style Easter dinner served up at Casey’s Buffet in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Casey’s Buffet in Wilmington is welcoming people in for a southern version of Easter dinner this weekend.

Owner Larry Casey says some of the most popular items are fried chicken, ham, turkey, collard greens, and potato salad.

The restaurant is also preparing takeout orders for those who are gathering around the family table for the holiday.

Casey says he’s happy to provide a hot meal for those wishing to celebrate Easter.

“Here in America, we’re so blessed,” Casey said. “There’s always someone who’s not doing as well as us. We try to treat everybody the same, treat everyone with kindness when they come in the door.”

Casey says Easter is one of his restaurant’s busiest days of the year. He expects about a thousand customers to come through his doors Sunday.
