Belville officials appoint new commissioner

BELVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The town of Belville has a new commissioner.

Town officials appointed Kent Goodman to the town board at their meeting last week.

He is a 15 year resident who works in landscaping. Goodman says Mayor Pro-Tem Joe Breault thought he would be a good fit for the position.

Goodman wants to help Belville grow while preserving its natural beauty and improving the community’s quality of life.

His term will expire in December 2019.
