WPD searching for man accused of stealing patio furniture from restaurants


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Thousands of dollars in patio furniture taken from two Wilmington restaurants. Now police hope you can identify the suspect who was caught on surveillance video.

Wilmington Police say this is the man who stole from two restaurants.

The first theft happened February 1 at Middle of the Island Catering on South College Road. The suspect allegedly stole $2,000 worth of patio chairs.

The second theft happened March 11 at Szechuan on South College Road. The furniture stolen from there is valued at $350.
