Donut shop searches for driver after crash causes damage to store

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — A Leland business is asking for help finding the truck driver that they say caused serious damage to its building.

A Facebook post says a white box truck with green letter, that is believed to be a 2009 or newer model Dodge Ram, ripped through the front of the Jondough on Village Road.

It happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.

They say it appeared to belong to a landscaping company.

They are working on getting surveillance pictures and are asking anyone who may recognize the description of the truck to reach out to Jondough.
