Sunset Beach police search for hit-and-run suspect
BRUNSWICK COUNTy, NC (WWAY) — Sunset Beach Police need help identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident.
It happened at the Food Lion at 1776 Clippers Way last Thursday just before 12:30 p.m.
Police say the suspect hit a parked vehicle. He then got out to examine his truck, started walking toward the store and then returned to his truck and drove away.
The victim’s car had about $3,500 worth of damage.
Police say the suspect was driving a blue Ford F-150 or F-250.
