Brunswick Co. teen accused of conspiring to rob, kidnap man

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — An 18-year-old woman from Shallotte is accused of scheming with others to rob a man.

Shelby Zelkowski is charged with second degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

According to the arrest warrant, Zelkowski said she conspired with three men, “Tate, Jack, and Jackie” to rob a Supply man.

Warrants allege the crime happened on Tuesday.

Zelkowski is in the Brunswick County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
