Thousands of new homes could be coming to Surf City

SURF CITY, NC (WAY) — Thousands of new homes could be on the way to Surf City.

A Florida-based private lender has acquired 195-acres for 3,200 single-family homes and multi-family units at the intersection of J H Batts Road and Roland Avenue.

According to a news release, the master planned community will be known as “Waterside” and is already approved as a planned unit development.

The lender, Trez Forman Capital Group, will sell lots to a national builder once the land is developed.
