Carolina Beach parking rates could increase by July
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Parking rates in Carolina Beach could go up soon if town council approves the changes at their next meeting.
Town staff says the reason for an increase is to help generate revenue to maintain the same service they have provided in the past.
If approved, non-residential parking passes could go up to $100 a year. Public parking lots and Freeman Park passes would go up as well.
If passed at their next meeting, the parking rates will change on July 1.
