Parks Foundation of Burgaw to host inaugural charity golf tournament

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — The Parks Foundation of Burgaw announced it will host an inaugural charity golf tournament.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9 at the Bear Trail Golf Club in Jacksonville.

Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate.

Organizers said all proceeds will go directly to the foundation’s ongoing community fundraiser to build a splash pad in Burgaw.

“We’re thrilled to launch this annual tournament as a fun and meaningful way to bring the community together,” said Sydney Lewis, Chairperson of the Parks Foundation of Burgaw. “Every dollar raised brings us closer to making the splash pad a reality for families in our area.”

Registration includes a team of four, breakfast, a full round of golf, lunch, and an awards ceremony.
