WPD: Man stabbed in parking lot of Wilmington restaurant

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — One man is in the hospital after being stabbed outside a restaurant on S. Kerr Avenue Saturday afternoon.

Witnesses say the incident happened in the parking lot of Taqueria Los Portales on 1207 S. Kerr Ave.

Wilmington Police say two men initially got into an argument. Officers responded shortly before 1 p.m. and found one man with stab wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There are no arrests at this time, but the victim’s name is being withheld pending the outcome of the investigation.
