Two babies, child inside Tabor City home during shooting
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Early Friday morning, someone fired several shots into a Tabor City home while seven people, including three young children, were inside.
The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office says a 61-year-old woman reported that someone shot at her home on Shug Norris Road around 3:00 a.m.
A 24-year-old woman, 17-year-old woman, 28-year-old man, a 5-year-old, and two babies were also home at the time.
The Sheriff’s Office says no one got hurt, but there were several bullet holes in various parts of the house.
A vehicle that was parked in the yard was also struck.
According to the incident report, several bullet projectiles and shell casings were found at the scene.
The shooting is still under investigation.
