Student accused of bringing knives to school appears in court
PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — One of the Topsail High School students arrested during a lockdown on campus in May appeared in court Wednesday morning.
18-year-old Bryce Sheehan‘s lawyer, Jason Vaughn, motioned for the case to be continued.
His next court date is August 23.
The assistant DA said his bond conditions will remain the same.
Sheehan will be under house arrest and is granted permission to attend work and church.
Sheehan was arrested at Topsail High during a lockdown. Deputies say he had four knives on him, including one strapped to his leg.
