DOT repairs sinkhole on Princess Place Drive in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A sinkhole led Wilmington Police to close down a portion of Princess Place Drive over the weekend.
WPD closed off the North Wilmington Road a little after 3 p.m. Saturday. the road was closed along the 2800 block from 29th Street to the 2700 block.
Crews came in from the NCDOT overnight to make repairs on the sinkhole.
Police told WWAY the road has had issues before with this sinkhole.
