Man injured during afternoon shooting in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of South 7th Street around 12:40 p.m. in reference to shots fired.
Police say the victim suffered non-life threatening wounds and was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The investigation is on-going.
