Crews search for possible missing swimmer near Ocean Isle Beach

OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Authorities are searching for a possible drowning victim near Tubbs Inlet near Ocean Isle Beach.

According to sources, Coast Guard deployed a boat and helicopter around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to help with the search.

People on the beach reportedly called 911 after seeing someone in the water waving their arms.
