Radiothon raises more than $37K for NHRMC
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover Regional Medical Center is celebrating after the 10th Annual Caring for Kids Radiothon.
Over two days Sunny 103.7 helped raise more than $37,000. Even WWAY’s Randy Aldridge got a chance to stop by and help man the phones.
The money raised will support the NHRMC Foundation’s caring for kids fund, which provides financial assistance to families of hospitalized pediatric and neonatal patients.
The money buys practical items like gas cards, car seats, meal cards and even tooth brushes.
