Legion Stadium pool to open for dogs Tuesday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington is about to enter the dog days of summer, literally!

The city and the YMCA are bringing back the annual pooch plunge.

City pools are only open for a few more days for you to take a dip.

The pools will close to humans Tuesday, but then open to dogs. Tuesday through Friday, take Fido anytime from 3 until 8 p.m. then on the weekend hours are noon till 6 p.m.

It’s only $5 per dog.
