School bus with kids on board rear-ended in Brunswick County

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County school bus was rear-ended late Wednesday afternoon. 21 students were on board at the time, according to the schools system.

It happened just after 4:30 p.m. on Funston Road in Winnabow.

A schools spokesman says EMT’s checked out the students and thankfully no one was injured.

The bus was not damaged and continued on its route.

Law enforcement is investigating.
