Two arrested on drugs, weapons charges in Brunswick County
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two people face numerous charges after a Brunswick County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled over a speeding car near Calabash and found a gun, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office says Quinta Demarr Richburg, 24, of Shallote and Charles Junior Anderson, 54, of Little River were arrested Friday.
Richburg is charged with the following:
- possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine
- two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon
- flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle
- two counts of possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
In 2013, Richburg was previously convicted of armed robbery with a deadly weapon in Horry County. He is currently being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $75,000 bond.
Anderson is charged with possession of a stolen firearm. He is being held under a $10,600 bond.
The sheriff’s office says they seized three guns and 2.5 grams of cocaine.
