Wilmington Police searching for man who exposed himself to teen

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say a man exposed himself to a 19-year-old with autism.

Police say it happened at Independence Mall in the food court restroom around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say the man walked into the bathroom stall and asked him to join the teen because he said he had something to show him.

The victim then left the bathroom and told his case worker. The case worker then contacted mall security who called the Wilmington Police Department.

Police described the suspect as a tan, skinny white male wearing white t-shirt and red shorts. He has a salt and pepper colored beard. He told the victim that he was 35 years-old.
