WWAY anchor shares smile on his first day of cancer treatment
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — As many of you may know, you might not see WWAY Anchor Randy Aldridge on the air for a while.
He announced Wednesday that he’s taking a leave of absence to battle cancer.
Randy sent us these pictures Thursday morning as he officially started treatment.
We ask that you keep him in your thoughts as he begins this uphill battle.
As many know Randy is strong and a fighter, and he appreciates everyone’s well wishes.
He has been diagnosed with a type of colorectal cancer.
