Jelly Beans skates its final lap in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s the last night to lace up for one Wilmington skating staple.

For nearly ten years Jelly Beans Family Skate Center has played host to parties, after school programs and more.

The land was recently sold and for the first time in more than 30 years the Oleander Drive space will not be home to a skating rink.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the final night at Jelly Beans. The doors close at 10 p.m.
