Pet Pals: 3-year-old Beagle mix looking for calm, loving family to join

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — This week’s Pet Pal is a sweet and calm pup who’s looking for a loving family to join.

His name is Dexter and he’s a Beagle mix who shelter staff describe as quiet, but fun. He needs a home without small children and no other dogs.

To meet him, head to New Hanover County Animal Services. County residents can adopt for $70. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
