New Hanover County residents invited to enjoy free outdoor attractions on Sunday

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County is encouraging residents to start off the new year by getting outside.

Sunday, January 4 is Residents Free Day at Airlie Gardens and the New Hanover County Arboretum.

Residents Free Day is for all New Hanover County residents, students and employees.

Tickets for Airlie Gardens must be reserved in advance.

The New Hanover County Arboretum is free on a daily basis.
