Brunswick County man arrested, facing attempted murder charges following incident in Shallotte

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County man has been arrested and charged following an alleged incident in Shallotte last week.

20-year-old Harry Alex Grissett was arrested on Saturday morning by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Grissett was wanted in connection with an incident that happened last Sunday morning around midnight in the Shallotte Point Loop Road area.

Grissett has been charged with 5 counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle

He is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday.
