Belville to host Food Truck Rodeo and Founders Day Celebration

BELVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Belville is inviting residents and visitors to kick off summer with two exciting community events at the Belville Riverwalk.
The 4th Annual Belville Food Truck Rodeo is happening on Saturday, June 20 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Organizers said the event will feature more than a dozen unique food trucks serving a variety of delicious cuisines, desserts, and specialty beverages.
New this year, attendees can participate in line dancing from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Guests 21 and older can enjoy the Beer & Cider Garden hosted by Brunswick Beer & Cider, while kids can take part in Cowboy Competitions and enjoy additional surprises throughout the day.
“The Food Truck Rodeo has become one of our most anticipated events each year,” said Belville Mayor Chuck Bost. “It brings people together to enjoy great food, great entertainment, and the beautiful setting of the Belville Riverwalk.”
The Founders Day/250th Celebration is happening on Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Founders Day commemorates the 49th birthday of the Town of Belville while also recognizing America’s 250th anniversary.
The celebration will feature live music from Cat-A-Tonic and Brunswick Big Band, along with a Kids Zone Play Area sponsored by FunTime Inflatables.
Families can also enjoy face painting, balloon creations from Mr. Twister, and a variety of additional activities throughout the day.
The event is co-hosted by VFW Post 12196 and will also include historical activities.
Guests 21 and older can visit the Beer & Cider Garden hosted by Brunswick Beer & Cider.
Everyone is invited to enjoy free birthday cake courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Both events are free to attend and will take place at the Belville Riverwalk located at 580 River Road Southeast.
