CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WWAY) – If you see or smell smoke near Carolina Beach on Monday, Apr. 26, don’t be alarmed — a controlled burn is planned at Carolina Beach State Park.

The burn will begin around 10:00 a.m. near the south entrance to the park.
