BCSO: Brief pursuit ends in wreck

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office said a brief pursuit ended in a wreck Wednesday evening on Clemmons Road around 6:15 p.m.

A BCSO spokesperson said the suspect, Jamie Holden, had felony warrants and was recognized by a law enforcement officer.

The spokesperson said the officer tried to stop Holden, who drove away.

No injuries have been reported.

Holden is now in custody.
