Gabrielle Deabler joined WWAY as morning meteorologist in July 2015.
Gabrielle was raised in the small town of Bourbon, MO, just south of St. Louis. She was always in love with math and science as a kid, and as soon as she was introduced to meteorology in middle school she knew what her future career would be.
Gabrielle attended the University of Missouri, better known as Mizzou, where she earned a bachelor's degree in atmospheric sciences with a minor in mathematics. After a semester long internship she spent the last two years of college as the weekend weathercaster for KMIZ. While there she had the opportunity to cover every type of weather the Midwest experiences.
Gabrielle has always had a particular interest in tropical weather, though, so she is very excited to be living and working at the coast!
Growing up close to St. Louis she is, of course, a fan of Cardinals baseball and Blues hockey. She is also a huge enthusiast of theater and a supporter of local libraries.
