Three men injured in overnight shootings

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating overnight shootings that left three Wilmington men injured.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 500 block of Harnett Street around 1:00 a.m.

Police say they saw a vehicle speeding. Two people inside had non-life threatening gunshot wounds and were on their way to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

A third victim arrived at New Hanover Regional Medical Center just before 2:00 a.m. with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The investigation is on-going.
