Wilmington man charged with assault with intent to kill

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man has been arrested on multiple charges including two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

The charges allege Tazhan Deandre Beverly assaulted two people with a handgun on May 31, 2026.

Beverly has also been charged with carrying a concealed gun and discharging a firearm with city limits.

Beverly’s bond has been set at $15,000.
