Chicks soon to hatch at New Hanover County Arboretum
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Arboretum will soon have some new members to the property, baby chicks.
The arboretum received the eggs on Tuesday.
The eggs are currently tucked up in the incubator. Staff says the temperature is set to stay at between 99 and 100 degrees and humidity around 50-55%.
They say about 10 chicks are expected to hatch in less than 20 days and they can’t wait to meet them.
