Teen charged with Hoggard student’s death given $1M bond

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) —  A 17-year-old made his first appearance in court charged with another teen’s death.

Wilmington Police say U.S. Marshals arrested Tyler Matthew Yee yesterday. He is charged with first degree murder for the death of Raymond Kain, 17. Kain was a student at Hoggard High School.

Kain was found in the 100 block of Sebrell Avenue Thursday night.

A judge set Yee’s bond at $1 million bond in court today.
