Man found innocent after 17 years in jail sues law enforcement

A North Carolina man declared innocent of a murder for which he spent almost 17 years behind bars has sued five former agents and supervisors of the state's law-enforcement agency.

First Fruit Ministries in Wilmington helps feed the hungry and give the homeless shelter. But the charity is also giving the people it helps life skills to get them on their feet.

Visitors say Pender wildfires no reason to cancel holiday beach plans

video Crews fighting wildfires in Pender County set controlled burns today to try and get rid of fuel for the flames. Many folks traveling to the area may be worried if their holiday plans will be ruined because of the fire and smoke. But tourists who have already made their way to the area say there is nothing to worry about.

11 a.m. game on Wednesday will highlight this week's schedule at the Shark Tank

Wednesday will be "Big Splash Day" at the Shark Tank. It'll be wet and wild behind the dugout. Hopefully the game will be wild as well as the Wilmington Sharks summer league baseball team plays their only morning game of the season.
