ONLY ON 3: Witness says Leland cops looked for fights

video Two Leland police officers are off the clock tonight after a fight in downtown Wilmington this weekend. Wilmington Police cited the officers with misdemeanor affray. One witness, who served as a military police officer, says the officers were asking for trouble.

NC woman accused of pouring hot water on child

Authorities in Jacksonville accuse of woman of pouring scalding hot water on her 9-month-old daughter. The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Michelle Julia Woodhouse-Deboyes of Jacksonville is charged with felony child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury and mental emotional injury.

Halloween started a little early on the Battleship

The line was long for the for the 4th annual Batty Battleship's Halloween Bash, but it was worth it. Once below decks kids were part of the carnival festivities with treats and games. This is an alternative to door to door trick or treating that many parents prefer.
