The city of Wilmington recently added the ability to take credit card payments in the Convention Center garage. Instead of paying with cash on the way in, attendees now pay with a credit card or cash on the way out.

The New Hanover County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying the suspects who robbed a grocery store late Monday night.
It happened at the Food Lion at 6400-1 Carolina Beach Rd. around 11 p.m. Monday.

The body of a Wilmington soldier killed in Afghanistan is back on American soil. Sgt. Thomas J. Butler IV’s body arrived at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware last night. Fellow service members made what the military calls the dignified transfer in the rain. There is no word yet on when Butler’s body will return to Wilmington.
