Oak Island business owner sentenced for drug trafficking

An Oak Island business owner will spend more than two years behind bars after being convicted of drug trafficking. Charles Overman owner of Overman Electric, Inc., received a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 months in prison after pleading guilty to trafficking more than 25 pounds of marijuana.

Illegal immigrant pleads guilty to raping 6-year-old girl
