Leaders from both Kure Beach and Carolina Beach met this morning with New Hanover County Commissioners. The purpose of the special meeting was to discuss issues important to all communities, from dredging to smoking on the beach.

The City of Wilmington continues to inch closer to building a ballpark and bringing a minor league baseball team to the Port City. City leaders held a special meeting Tuesday night to set a public hearing for a bond referendum.
