Everyone's hoping this weekend's closure of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge will not lead to another episode of "Carmageddon" as it did two weekends ago. To help, the Department of Transportation is adding runs on the Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry.

The N.C. Department of Transportation will close all lanes on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge in Wilmington this weekend from 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, until 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15.
