Class is in session this weekend at Cape Fear Community College's North campus in Castle Hayne. Hundreds of firefighters showed up for Fire College, a different kind of school that does not teach from books.

Before North Carolina firefighters battle flames out in the field they learn in a controlled environment. This weekend hundreds of firefighters came together from across the state for the Pender County Firefighter's Association Fire College.
