An Oak Island business owner will spend more than two years behind bars after being convicted of drug trafficking.
Charles Overman owner of Overman Electric, Inc., received a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 months in prison after pleading guilty to trafficking more than 25 pounds of marijuana.

It's another drug bust for the Wilmington Police Department. After receiving some complaints from neighbors, a member of the Wilmington Police Narcotics Unit checked in on Friday. A detective knocked on the door of 226 Davie Drive and then entered the residence upon receiving consent to search.
