video Brunswick CC has never defeated Cape Fear CC in volleyball before. The Dolphins came close on Wednesday, but the Sea Devils pulled it out at the Schwartz Center in downtown Wilmington. Both squads are loaded with home grown talent.

Contract crews to help Wilmington with Irene clean-up

Contract crews will start picking up debris from Hurricane Irene in Wilmington tomorrow. As of Tuesday night, city crews have picked up between 800 and 1,000 tons of vegetative debris since Irene passed through Wilmington.
