After an ongoing WWAY NewsChannel 3 Investigation into allegations of misconduct and corruption within the Leland Police Department, the Leland Town Council has called a special meeting at 7 p.m. to discuss what Mayor Pro Tem Brenda Bozeman calls "personnel actions." The mayor of one Brunswick County town is out of jail after being arrested this afternoon for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at his home. This is not the first time Belville's mayor has been publicly reprimanded recently for his actions. Full story...
