Imagine spending one $190,000 on something, but it only works part of the time. That's the challenge Wilmington city workers are now facing with a new communications system.
The new system, called The Cloud, was implemented as a way to save the city money. Instead it has turned in to quite a headache for city workers.

The City of Wilmington's talks with Mandalay and the Atlanta Braves are done for the week, but there is still no deal for the proposed ballpark.
With an August 7 deadline looming, Councilman Kevin O'Grady says there is still a lot to work out.

All the work to get a petition signed against a taxpayer funded ballpark may have been for naught.Tuesday night Wilmington City Council said McCoy and Josh Fulton's petition was invalid because they did not have a required affidavit along with questions about some of the signatures.
