A military jury has found an Army sergeant guilty on one of three charges in the hazing-related death of Pvt. Danny Chen.
Sgt. Jeffrey T. Hurst was found not guilty Friday of hazing and maltreatment. He was found guilty of dereliction of duty.

A hometown hero was laid to rest today in the Port City.
This morning, hundreds of family, friends and supporters came out to pay their respects to Sgt. T.J. Butler.
Though his death was a shock to those who knew him, it was clear today that Sgt. Butler's sacrifice not go unnoticed.

People crowded Market Street outside First Baptist Church in Wilmington today during Sgt. T.J. Butler's funeral.
Supporters from near and far lined the street to show respect for the fallen soldier and his family. His story hit close to home for many of them.
