“Our prosecutor has informed us she would accept disorderly conduct charges regarding it, but I feel we could come to an agreement regarding a modification to it,” he wrote.

ABC11’s sister station ABC13 first tracked down the driver of the pickup truck. Karen Fonseca said she put the custom-made graphic up about 11 months ago.

She said her family is expressing their First Amendment rights and voicing their dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump. Fonseca said she’s surprised Nehls couldn’t reach her. She’s open to sitting down with him.

She insisted that she has no intention of removing the sign.

“It makes people happy,” she said. “They smile. They stop you. They want to shake your hand.”

Fonseca said she’s most at odds with the president about his proposed border wall.

She said people tell her they “wish they had the guts” to put up a similar sign on their vehicle.

The American Civil Liberties Union responded to Nehls’ Facebook post.

“No Sheriff Nehls, you can’t prosecute speech just because it contains words you don’t like,” ACLU said.

I do not remember ever seeing a sticker like that speaking out against President Obama. chub Seawell, and elder statesman from Carthage said it best: “You can’t outhate a loving liberal.”

“I do not remember ever seeing a sticker like that…” Willful ignorance.

That sort of language used in that manner is completely offensive, no matter who it addresses. It is fully representative of extreme ignorance, hatred and shows the the weak minded desperation of an idiot that nobody listens to. Completely unacceptable and totally confrontational. Doesn’t take much for you to stoop to the same level (or lower) does it?

        Me? Or them? (wink)

When you have no reasonable answer, go with an insult. (wink)

And the “HATRED” continues from the left. It’s a shame that people have such a lack of self control that it makes their putrid ignorance come out so loudly and blatantly in the form of being a filthy-mouthed, confrontational standout.
The people I know from Texas don’t appreciate this sort of disrespectful, nasty-mouthed mega-phoning, so I think miss “Fonseca” is extremely LUCKY that the sheriff got to her before other Texan’s did! She’s VERY lucky!

How many people do you know from Texas?

I was in the Port Arthur area for a week after Harvey as a disaster relief worker and Texas opened their arms and hearts to us. God Bless Texas.
