Wilmington Sam’s Club evacuated after smoke detected inside

Wilmington, NC (WWAY)– Sam’s Club in Wilmington evacuated its shoppers this afternoon due to a small fire.

Smoke was detected from a freezer fan, according to Wilmington Police Department, which triggered the fire alarms in the store.

Although, nothing was actually in flames.

Sam’s Club evacuated its customers as a safety precaution.
