Columbus County man arrested for allegedly killing puppy with shotgun

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Columbus County man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a puppy.

49-year-old Anthony Webster III is accused of shooting a puppy in the back with a shotgun, killing it.

The incident took place along McMillan Road in Whiteville.

Webster was charged with Cruelty to Animals and received a $1,500 unsecured bond.
